I started working in web almost half-way through my BA in Graphic Design, and that's how I figured out that I enjoyed the digital world more than print. My first full-time job was in 2005, in a company that focused on corporate design and web solutions. I worked there for nearly six years, growing from an entry-level UI designer and HTML/CSS developer to Design Manager.

I had an offer to work for Infragistics in late 2010 and decided to step down from managing so that I could be part of an international team creating their (then new) product of HTML and jQuery web controls. I worked with teammates in various locations (Bulgaria, India, Japan, Uruguay, and USA) and I just loved the idea of collaborating closely with developers and designers from all over the world. I was part of the pilot team that started introducing Agile in the company previously dominated by Waterfall methodology. We even provided training to the other teams once the trial was proved successful.

In early 2015 I also started freelancing for the Inter-American Development Bank, helping out in their transition to SharePoint and redesigning/rebuilding all of their intranet sites. It was around this time that I relocated to Dublin, where I currently live.

In 2017 I started working in Cartrawler as a UI designer for their B2B products, designing widgets, microsites, and sales campaigns for their airline partners. In June 2018 I started working on their SmartBlock Product, providing end to end design, from ideation (wireframes, prototypes, user flows, etc) to high fidelity designs for implementation and usability testing. As personal projects I took over Documentation tasks and reorganised the whole file system for the design team, and I worked closely with the Insights team to suggest data driven problem solving cycles. I also participated in the design and implementation of a new Design System, to be applied across multiple platforms and products.
